Tomato Maroussia was originally bred by German breeders representing Satimex QUEDLINBURG. Her Russian representative, Agroplaneta LLC, made a request to the selection committee for permission to adapt the plant in the climatic conditions of Russia.
After approval, in 2006 it began testing and became the originator of the variety. In 2007, Maroussia tomato was listed in the state register as a variety intended for cultivation throughout the country.

The plant is annual. Refers to mid-season determinant cultivar, which ceases its growth after the formation of the ovary with the fruit at the end of the shoot. Designed for landing on open ground and in greenhouse conditions. It tolerates summer heat and low night temperatures.

The next step in nursing seedlings is picking. The process of transplanting young sprouts into a large capacity of 200-500 ml. It is carried out on day 8-14, when two leaves appear in the plant.
